As Maths and English are part of an apprenticeship it is an advantage to have the basic skills, but this is not essential.
WHY AN APPRENTICESHIP?
If you have the determination to do well in the world of work and you aren’t afraid to commit yourself to ongoing training and studying then an apprenticeship could be for you.
Apprentices are employed in their salon and earn a wage while they learn Level 2 and Level 3 skills that will stay with them for life.
Apprenticeship training at Upper Cut is outstanding where training is carried out in a commercial salon and on real paying clients.
All apprentices are employed and work in top salons where salon owners, stylists and trainers offer excellent support in the workplace.
Statistics show that after finishing an apprenticeship 90% of apprentices will be employed and a large proportion of these will stay with the same employer.
